Why I Moved to Kenya
May 30, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
I am 29 years old, but my journey actually began when I was a toddler and facinated by animals. I used to bug my parents to take me to the zoo every week. When we used to go I adored bringing my camera along on the journey. Within a few years my bedroom wall was covered full of fascinating images.
When I went to college I continued to study art and photography, I decided not to go to university and instead got a job down the local sea life centre. The job I was in was outstanding, I was doing a job that I loved but somehow it did not feel like it was enough.
When I turned 25 I received the best gift ever from my parents, african safari were an up and coming trend, but to be honest I could have never afforded to go. Once I did receive my tickets I was very happy.
Once I arrived on my Kenya holidays I just felt that I belonged to be here. The feeling just got stronger and stronger and the more time I stayed there. In some ways I did not want to return home, things were alot better here. So do you really know what? I decided not to go back, I have now spent four great years in Kenya and although I do miss my family and friends there is no way that I would ever go back.
I was born to be part of nature and that is where I want to stay, I am also earning a great bit of money by selling on my wildlife photos, but not everything is about the money.

Its one of the biggest purchases you will make during your holiday in Magaluf-your accommodations. The place you opt to stay can also change the whole face of your holiday jaunt, influencing where you eat and which attractions you visit. No matter what you hope to do during your holiday, you can find accommodation in Magaluf to meet the needs of your schedule. What is the best way to decide which hotel or rental apartment is the smartest choice for you? Remember to keep your intentions in mind while planning.
If the beach is what drew you to vacation in Magaluf in the first place, a panoramic oceanfront view may be just perfect for you. If you are looking forward to haunting the night clubs more than anything else, accommodations within walking distance are advantageous. In the same vein, an apartment or room near any attraction that piques your interests will make your holiday a little more convenient. You will have no problem booking a handsome accomodation in Magaluf, and if you take a little time to study your options it can alter your holiday for the better.
How near the beach you hope to be and other factors will doubtless affect your conclusion about where to stay. You should not forget to book accommodation in Magaluf early in the season if your holiday falls during the busy summer months because space will be at a premium. Every choice offers its own charms and incentives, from particularly gorgeous views of the bay to exceptional room service.
Cost is another consideration, and if you aspire to keep your expenditures low then you might do well to rent a car and drive to a lot of Magalufs attractions rather than walking. Swapping an oceanfront view for an equally picturesque one of Majorca’s unique mountain landscape may garner you a lower rate just because you won’t be immediately on the beach. Whatever your needs, this seaside resort will have accommodations to fulfill them.

Tips For Finding Cheap Airline Tickets, And Traveling On A Budget
May 28, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
The no-frills airline, launched by Southwest in the 80s, is no longer a U.S. phenomena. Low cost airlines are popping up around the globe. They are taking over domestic and international routes throughout Europe and Asia and select routes in South America, Africa and the Middle East. A few even operate intercontinental flights. And many make money.
There is a another side to cheap airfare. Travelers can spend a good amount of their time scouring the web for the best deal. Not all countries have a low cost carrier and not all airports are serviced by a discount airline.
Many low-fare airlines cannot be booked through on-line agencies or portals, such as Orbitz and Yapta. Promotional offers are almost always limited and expire on a daily basis.
And when you finally find a flight, it is difficult to compare the offering. The following airfare tips will reduce your search time and help prepare you for any additional travel time.
Research
- Determine which carriers service the route you wish to fly. Many airport web sites include a route map as well as a list of carriers. Other options will only be found if you check the web site of both airports for arrivals and departures.
- If you are traveling abroad, identify local on-line agencies and portals of discount airfares.
- Low cost carriers often use secondary airports. Verify distance and ground transportation before you book. Most low-fare carriers and many consolidators provide such information on their web sites.
- Many low-cost airlines offer point-to-point service. You may not be able to check-in for a second flight at a transit desk. So you may need to build-in some time between flights to accommodate any passport formalities, get your luggage and check-in for the next part of your trip.
- Security precautions introduced by the credit card companies may limit your ability to book flights on foreign websites.
Getting the Best Deal On Airfare
- Initiate your search with on-line agencies and consolidators.
- Subscribe to the airline and to the consolidator’s newsletter.
- Utilize services that enable you to set a price, such as the Orbitz “Deal Detector”. Orbitz will send an email if fares on the route you select drop to the price level you set. The service is available for free.
- Use the consolidator as a tool. Book directly with airline. This may reduce the service charge without affecting the fare.
Comparing Fares
- Low cost fares are often quoted on a one-way basis.
- Taxes, surcharges, and handling fees are not always included in the original price. Click through to the final page to effectively compare airfares and fees.
- Airfare may be quoted in the airline or consolidator’s local currency only. Converting airfares to USD will facilitate comparison.
Before You Depart
- Pack a lunch or a snack and drinks for all. Food and beverage are no longer included in the price of the airfare!
- Come to the airport early if you want to sit next to your spouse and the kids. Seating is likely to be open and boarding is often based on the order in which passengers check-in.

A Great Selection of Apartments in Magaluf
May 26, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
Taking your holiday on the beach is an event to anticipate with delight, and letting an apartment for your rest is one of the most important things you can do to make your trip a winner. You can find many different kinds of apartments in Magaluf, and as a consequence you will have the power to pick and choose the qualities that are most crucial to you. A view of the ocean and close proximity to eateries and other forms of entertainment are only some of things to think about.
If you don’t plan on lounging around in your rental apartment, you might prefer simple accommodations that are close to the beach or within walking distance of your favorite bars and night clubs. Conversely, you might fall into the category of tourists who would rather wind down by sipping a drink on the balcony of a beautifully adorned apartment, in which case luxurious quarters might be vital to your having a good time.
Also think about the number of people you will be traveling with before letting any apartments in Magaluf. Sizable families or groups of friends on holiday will need more space, more places to sleep, and lots of bathroom access. A romantic getaway for two would be nicely spent in snugger quarters.
Think about how you plan on spending your time there, because apartments in Magaluf can reflect the type of tourists who rent them. For Example, if you are taking your holiday primarily for the night scene, an apartment in the direct area will be handy. If you are taking your spouse and two children to the beach, the same apartment might prove too noisy or boisterous for you.
And then there is the cost factor. While the common rule dictates that the more pricey the arrangements, the more convenient and well-appointed your apartment will be, you may be able to save some cash on a fantastic rental if you are glad to drive to your destinations. Unless, of course, you are determined to enjoy a view of the white-sand beaches from your patio.

Going through with the European PGA Tourqualifying is something that most golfers can only dream of. They have to go through and prove a lot if they want to make it through with the European PGA Tour qualifying, and getting the European tourdates. If you are a golfer you usually look up to the day, ever since you get into the game, of when you can qualify for the PGA Tour.
European PGA Tour Qualifying: From the Beginning To End
Now if you are interested in getting into the European PGA Tour qualifying, there are a few things that you are going to want to be aware of. First and foremost you are going to need to realize that there is going to be much more to it than you just deciding that you are going to go into the European PGA Tour qualifying, and instead you are going to have to be willing to put a lot of time and effort in.
When we talk about sport such as golf, you should know the fact that there are many people already who are entering in the sport and who are gaining skill and experience as every day goes on. If you want to even be considered for the European PGA Tour qualifying, you are going to have to make your mark in the golf world.

Top Amusement Parks To Visit In Myrtle Beach
May 24, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
If you plan on visiting Myrtle Beach this summer I want to help you in your trip, here you are going to find the top 10 things to do while in Myrtle Beach. Having visited there for years since I was a little one, I have seen the good, bad and boring. The best time of the year to go to Myrtle Beach is around Memorial Day. My reason why is that the water is starting to not be as cold, and the weather is gorgeous. The travelers are all around and the place is coming to life with great night life.
Now I want to tell you about all the best spots to hit on your trip.
1. Freestyle Music Park - This park was Hard Rock Park but is now under new ownership and is going to be better than ever. I visited Hard Rock Park last year and loved it. I heard that most of it will be the same while some will be changing. I have to say that I am thrilled to see what has changed and been improved upon.
2. Family Kingdom Amusement Park - This is one of my past time favorites and would suggest you try the Swamp Fox wooden roller coaster. I would suggest that if you are there you try out their water park “Family Kingdom Water Park”.
3. Kart-Trax Formula Racing - This is an indoor racing park that is quite safe for the famiy and now as an adult not my favorite. The only reason I say this is because I want to do a little more than drive cars, they go a decent speed but I would rather go a lot faster.
4. Nascar SpeedPark - This is a rather new park and has some great things to do while you are there. There is a fun rock wall for climbing and can be a great workout if that is something that you want to experience.
5. Pavilion Nostolgia Park - This is located on Broadway at the Beach and it has all the basic fair attractions. Some of the awesome interesting rides they have are the spinning teacups, pirate ships, Wave Swinger and motorcycles to ride. It is rather easy on the wallet
I hope that this will help in your adventure to Myrtle Beach. Although I only mentioned the theme parks there is a lot of other things that you can do while you go to Myrle Beach. Myrtle Beach has a lot of great Seafood restaurants as well. If you are interested in learning about amusement parks in Myrtle Beach then you can always keep up with this blog or visit the Visitors Bureau.
