We all like to get a discount on things we buy or rent. The same thing goes with renting a car, however, if you wish to get the best rates car rental you should be able to stick to certain rules provided here. You should know that renting a vehicle should never cost you a fortune - thus, following these tips can just help you with your struggle towards keeping the cost down.
When you contact the rental agency, ask them categorically, whether they are running any special scheme at that time, as this can save you a lot of money. Usually car rental agencies have a business affiliation with one of the airlines or hotel chains. This is something worth checking as this aspect could further lower your rental prices.
One useful tip is to visit the rental office first thing in the morning to find free upgrade offers that can be available just any time. The benefit of reaching the renting a car company early in the morning is that you might get a more luxurious vehicle free of any charge, as there is likely to be a paucity of lower grade cars. I remembered one occassion when my wife drove a SUV on a family trip when I rented a minivan from E-Z Rent-A-Car online. One of my friends happened to get a fullsize car when he reserved a midsize rental car. I’m not sure if these deals are available but you have nothing to lose by checking EZ Rent A Car reviews.
If you don’t want to end up wasting a large sum of money then you might as well be careful in choosing your vehicle to rent such as not having to use a large family car for just two people.
The web is a place where several competing companies vie with each other with rates, so searching there first is a wise idea, if you want some appealing deductions. I usually find some good deals at E-Z Rent-A-Car. For the best rates of car rental, you can’t go wrong with EZ Rent A Car reviews.

Advance Growth Towards A Ladies European Tour
June 27, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
For ladies golfing only started many years, if not decades, after then men’s game had begun. It has been a difficult progressive growth to enter the arena of a man’s domain, but never the less there is the ladies european tourthat caters for woman alone. Usually golfing is not known for playing man and woman together, so ladies can compete in european tour and have their own rankings too.
For any woman it should be a great encouragement and feather in their cap to know that they have entered the men’s domain, but now days there are so many women in the listings for the ladies european golf touralone. Golf is no longer considered only a gentleman’s game, but a ladies game too. And the ladies carry so much elegance with them too when they do tee off too. Yes there are the mad hatters out there that have been released from their cages too, into the golfing arena, but none the less they are champions listed on the ladies European tour that can be viewed on any of the websites for the ladies European tour.
Ladies European Tour: It Had To Start Off Somewhere
These ladies, just as the men had to start off somewhere, and when they realised that they could play just as good, the challenge began for ladies golf clubs too. The ladies European tour is just one of the many tours that they are attending, it is just the female version of the men’s one, but they have just as many competitions as the men do. The ladies finally got their own spot in the sunshine, which may not be great as we can think of that they would like to compete with men too on the odd situation, but that is only left for special events which players would not like.
Golfing For Ladies Still On The Increase
The ladies european tour games are not as many as the men have, but they are increasing by the year, not only for the feel of equality, but for the concept that they should have all the same games that the men do. Since the list of men for professional golf way out numbers the list of woman, this too needs to increase before the games can fully be matched. Luckily for the game of woman’s golfing, more and more woman are taking a liking to the relaxed game of golf with their friends or spouses whenever possible, so the chances of the ladies professional golfers of increasing is much more likely.
Are luxury holidays worth the extra cash they cost and can we afford them?
June 26, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
Money confronts us as a problem all the time, and with the recession reaching its peak can we afford to pay for a luxury holiday. Saying that, things seem to be looking up on the holiday side of things, prices have fallen and all inclusive holidays have become more available.
However does this really help us, although holiday prices are coming down the odds are we still won’t be able to afford luxury holidays. We do have bills to pay and expenses going out and a luxury holiday probably doesn’t seem that cheap, but how much is it? If you look around you will find more and more deals coming in, with travel agents trying to send you all over the world for as little as possible, even on Caribbean holidays where you have the clean white beaches and 5 star hotels, all of the pampering that you would ever need from a holiday.
Looking around for the best deals will help, but because competition is so tough they are all bringing their prices down just keep up with each other. Even if bills are taking up most of our money, one of the mopst important things for us to do is get away from everything every now and then, and luxury holidays are now cheaper and more available.
Some people are even having their weddings abroad because the prices are even cheaper abroad than they are at home, this shows that holidays at home might not be that cheap either. The best way to get away from the stress of it all is to go on a luxury holiday and now it’s becoming more available to us. Overall luxury holidays are easier for ua all to afford, but just because they are easier to afford doesn’t mean that we can, will you go on a luxury holiday?
Inverness Weekend City Breaks And 3 Charming Places Worth Visiting
June 25, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
Inverness, in the Scottish Highlands, is situated in some of the most aesthetically pleasing countryside in Scotland. In and around the city are many places associated with historic Scotland, often these sites saw a great deal of violence and human suffering. Of course Inverness has a incredible collection of tourist attractions (and the number is continually on the increase). In the following paragraphs I introduce three places to visit in Inverness Beauly Priory, Inverness Castle and Inverness Museum & Art Gallery:
Beauly Priory
In the 13th century Monks, from the Valliscaulian order, set up a community at Beauly Priory. Unfortunately nobody has the evidence to state the accurate date of the foundation of the settlement but it is generally agreed that is was around the year 1230. At that time Sir John Bisset, whose lands were almagamated with the Fraser’s of Lovat, was the patron and landowner of Beauly. The French monks and Sir John are credited with the naming of Beauly, coming from the French words for beautiful place. Unfortunately, the priory at Beauly was abandoned after the Scottish Reformation of 1582 and blocks of stone were used in the construction of other structures in the area. In the year 1913 the ruins of Beauly Priory were handed over to the state for the nation and they are now looked after by Historic Scotland.
Inverness Castle
Over time there have been various structures where Inverness Castle is today, evidence shows that the site had a structure there as far back as 1057. King Robert I almost destroyed the very first Inverness Castle. The castle which appears today was built and designed , in 1836, by William Burn. The magnificent red sandstone structure, is perched on a cliff looking down across the the cathedral on the opposite side and the River Ness. King James I, of Scotland, conducted parliament in Inverness Castle in 1427, and instructed all the Northern Chieftains to be in attendance. Alarmingly 3 of these chieftains were later executed for asserting an independent sovereignty.
Inverness Museum & Art Gallery
Found in Inverness’s town center is the newly refurbished Inverness Museum and Art Gallery which is really worth visiting especially if it is wet outside. At the museum you can enjoy Scottish History and find out how the Highlands are linked with the rest of the world. It is also possible to find out about the folk of the Highlands, their traditions and culture. There are several different collections featuring, costumes, textiles, crafts, fine arts, archaeology and wildlife.
If you are considering a vacation in Great Britain this year and you hope to spend some time in Scotland, think about spending a couple of days staying in Inverness. Finding Inverness hotel accommodation online is relatively easy as many establishments have their own web site. Hotels in Inverness, small hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts are always excellent and Inverness is well known for hospitality of the highest order, so you can be sure of have a wonderful time.
Enjoy London Take A Trip On The London Eye
June 25, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
London, the capital of England in the UK, has a massive selection of world class visitor attractions many of which are the most popular in Britain. For generations London has been a popular vacation destination and much of this interest is due to the immensity of the historical buildings and the unique culture. While many of the visitor attractions found in London have a historic interest, such as the Houses of Parliament, The Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, there are many that are only recent additions, such as the London Aquarium, and the youngest of these is the London Eye.
Many still refer to the London Eye as the Millennium Wheel, the reason being that it was built to commemorate then end of the old millenium and celebrate the new. It was officially opened by the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in the evening of December 31 but, sadly, there were technical issues and it was not opened to the public until March 2000. Standing 135m above London it has become an unmistakable, and highly visible, landmark.
In 1895, in Earl’s Court, was the Great Wheel of London, a giant Ferris Wheel which could carry around 1,600 people at a time. Unfortunately it was demolished in 1907 but today London has a replacement in the London Eye. Although it is not the largest Ferris wheel in the world it can legitimately claim to be the worlds largest cantilever observation tower!
Although the London Eye cannot carry as many people as the Great Wheel of London could it can manage to carry 25 people in each of its 32 capsules. Usually you must remain seated when on a Ferris wheel but on the London Eye you can get up and walk around during the 30 minute revolution.
Around 3.5 million people take a flight on the London Eye each year making it the most popular paid visitor attraction in London and the UK. The most common reason for taking a trip is to experience one of the finest views across London. During a revolution it is possible to take in some of the many London landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, Hampton Court Palace and Buckingham Palace. One view which will stay with you is the spectacular view of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben’s clock face.
The London Eye has been the scene of many a marriage proposal and a number of weddings, which can be booked as a package. In fact there are a number of things available which also include educational aspects for schools and colleges as well as river boat trips along the Thames.
If you are planning a vacation to London or just a weekend break it is well worth taking the opportunity to take a ride on this incredible visitor attraction. If your time in London is limited it is a real time saver as you are able to take in nearly all of the most important London landmarks during the 30 minute trip which is impossible to do any other way (excluding a helicopter or balloon ride).

An Introduction To Boutique Hotels
June 25, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
It is becoming increasingly common to see that many of the new, smaller, hotels are describing themselves as a “Boutique Hotel”. Across the city of London, the capital city of England in the United Kingdom, there are now a small number of superb boutique hotels but what exactly is a “Boutique Hotel” and where did they first appear? Read on to discover the answer.
Commonly boutique hotels are owned and run by small organizations, families or couples. However, there has been a recent trend for some of the larger hotel chains to build hotels to meet the specific demand for these hotels so this distinction may not hold true for much longer! Nearly all boutique hotels are uniquely styled to a high quality, especially in the decoration and furnishings, and commonly based upon a theme (such as a period in time). Such themes can range from a hotel decorated and furnished in the 17th Century style to one which is focused on chocolate for avid chocoholics. Sometimes a boutique hotel may feature rooms which have different themes to each other with no overall theme but this is rare.
Where Was The First Boutique Hotel?
Boutique hotels first appeared in the late 1980s in New York USA. Although some hotels claim to have been boutique hotels as far back as 1981 in places such as London UK and San Francisco the first hotel to be described as such was the ‘Morgans’ hotel, New York, in 1984. These earlier claimants were, therefore, subsequently described as such and can not, realistically, claim to be the first.
‘Morgans’ hotel was owned by Steven Rubell and Ian Schrager who had commissioned the Parisian designer Andrée Putman to create a unique, highly stylized, hotel in New York. Putman created the hotel in what has become known as an “America meets Europe” fashion. Steven Rubell set out to promote his hotel and to do this he needed to make his hotel stand out from all others, especially those belonging to the large hotel chains. He described other hotels as “department store” hotels and his own as a “boutique hotel” to show the distinctive difference - thus the phrase entered the English language for the first time.
Interesting Boutique Hotels in the United Kingdom
42 The Calls (hotel) in Leeds claims to be one of the first to appear in the UK. The Calls was a hotel built in the carcass of an old corn mill and used that as the overall theme. The main points of interest in the hotel are the incredibly comfortable handmade beds of each room and the pieces of machinery which have been kept from the days it was a working corn mill.
The Blake’s Hotel in South Kensington, London, is often quoted as being one of the first boutique hotels in the world but, although this appeared before Morgans in New York, for the reasons outlined above this claim is often dismissed. Over the last few decades there have been a number of boutique hotels appearing across the United Kingdom in such diverse places as the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland but the largest number have opened in London.
If you are planning a trip to, or a vacation in, London and you are considering booking a boutique hotel you may wish to check out the listings of boutique hotels in London at http://www.londonhotelhelper.com/
Aladdin Vegas
June 23, 2009 by ama57 · Leave a Comment
The present name of the former Aladdin Vegas resort is Hollywood Planet, a powerful establishment in the entertainment business on the Las Vegas Strip. This unique location in a major commercial center gives a great pleasure to visitors interested in buying unique luxury goods. Here, if your pocket allows it, you can shop for the famous globes made of gem stones produced by Alexander Kalifano, and this is to give just one example of the opulence and eccentricities you can be tempted with.
Then, Alladin Vegas has the reputation of featuring the best breakfast buffet in Las Vegas and the best known Spa treatments in the city. There are three types of accommodation you can choose at the hotel: resort, resort vista and deluxe. The panorama is exquisite with most rooms have a great look over the strip. Other enjoyable facilities available at Aladdin Vegas are the Spa treatments, the gyms, the jacuzzi and the marble bathrooms as well as the rooftop pools.
Reviews of Aladdin Vegas speak of a certain Hollywood culture imprint on the resort, even if the purpose of the center was to be an unpretentious and welcoming one. The entrance of the hotel and casino are truly impressive. You’ll be under the impression that everything is swirling around you because of the black granite floors, the lighting systems and the glass walls. The amazing light effects are produced by the color changing neon LED lights.
There is high quality entertainment to be enjoyed at Aladdin Vegas or Planet Hollywood. The casino dominates the ground floor, but up at the mezzanine, you can grab a bite at one of the nice, intimate and inviting restaurants or get to one of the events organized in the showroom or the Theater for the Performing Arts. The entertainment complex has a lot to offer, and even if you are just a visitor at Aladdin Vegas, it’s still getting the tour of the place.
Aladdin Vegas also functions as a social meeting place. There is the Heart Bar right in the middle of the casino, where you can have a drink and see who comes in and goes out of the location. An important part of the city’s night life, Aladdin Vegas charms and spoils its visitors with the opulence, but surely takes their money out for it. Have fun!
