The top 4 things not to do in Barbados!

This is another article designed to make your holiday just that little more exciting, only thing is that this one is a little different, instead of telling you what you should do, it’s a description on what you shouldn’t do. Barbados is a party capital, and many people do not have any problems with taking advantage of this.
- DRUGS, do not take or deal or bur drugs, it will be one of the biggest mistakes of your time here. If the police believe that you have hard drugs then you will be taken to a police custody locker, and even worse if you do have drugs on you, you could find yourself sitting in a prison cell for a while.
- Try to make sure that you do not draw attention to yourself in any unnecessary manner, make sure that you do not disgruntle any of the locals as you may find yourself dealing with the police.
- Thirdly be careful what you drink, Barbados is a party capital, and there are a number of reports about drinks being spiked, so always keep your drink with you, if you leave it unattended for a period of time don’t be cheap, get yourself a fresh one, unless of course you have left it with a friend, in which case I would also be weary.
- Do your best to remember this one, whatever happens do not get in a mini van taxi, with a crazy Barbadian driver. These people will try anything that they possibly can to get you into their cars, even if it means blurting swear words at you. Trust me, I promise you that you will be risking your life jumping into one of these death traps, they cram these things with as many people as possible, and then speed all over the place. Even if none of this is your fault, if the police get involved you could find yourself in a bit of a sticky situation and maybe even receiving some of the blame!
At least now you have some clear ideas what to avoid on your Barbados holidays, for smoother more relaxing Caribbean holidays try St Lucia or Antigua, and for something completely different and more spa oriented try Thailand holidays!
